In jannah, people dwell and live happily without fear, sadness, and floating sense of injury within their hearts.

“And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury;- beneath them will be rivers flowing;- and they shall say: “Praise be to Allah, who hath guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah: indeed it was the truth, that the messengers of our Lord brought unto us.” And they shall hear the cry: “Behold! the garden before you! Ye have been made its inheritors, for your deeds (of righteousness).” [Al-A’raaf: 43]

Then, if Allah, His mesenger (SAW) and His jannah are one’s true final objectives and goal, it would perhaps be wise to make continuous effort, to free oneself from the slightest sense of injury in one’s self.

وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا…

”..and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed.. [Al-Hashr: 10].

Allahummahdinas siraatakal mustaqeem.

Suatu ketika Muhammad bin Sulaiman berkata kepada Ibnu Sammak: “Aku mendengar isu yang menyudutkanmu.”

Ibnu Sammak menjawab: “Aku tidak peduli.”

Dengan nada heran Muhammad bin Sulaiman bertanya lagi: “Kenapa demikian?”

Ibnu Sammak menjawab: “Karena jika isu itu benar, aku yakin kamu pasti memaafkannya. Namun jika tidak benar, kamu tentu menolaknya.”
